Engagement and Tracking Officer
Fixed-Term contract (3 months, with possibility for extension)
We are looking for a highly organised, resilient, and proactive individual to join our team. This isn't just a desk job; it’s a vital frontline role where your ability to manage complex data is just as important as your ability to connect with a young people.
The Role
You’ll manage the data behind the scenes and also provide the hands-on support that ensures no young person is left without support for their education or career.
Key Responsibilities
- Data & Tracking: Coordinate the collection of cohort, offer, and destination data . Accuracy in Excel and database management is essential.
- School Partnerships: Build strong relationships with schools to ensure every student has a confirmed next step.
- Support: Deliver 1:1 and group sessions for NEET young people and those at risk of NEET, providing CV, job search, and application support.
- Tenacious Outreach: Use direct community engagement and door-knocking to find and re-engage young people whose destinations are "Not Known."
About You
You are the perfect fit for this role if you:
- Spreadsheet expert: You are highly proficient in Excel and comfortable managing large sets of data with speed and accuracy.
- Relationship Builder: Able to navigate school systems and build rapport and trust with young people who may face barriers to education, employment, or training.
- Resilient and Tenacious: You are comfortable working in the community, including door-knocking, and have a "can-do" attitude toward finding solutions.
- Careers Champion: Skilled in CV building, job search, and local signposting.
This role requires an Enhanced DBS with Children's and Adults barred list check.
