We are seeking to fill the post of Senior Support Worker within our in-house provisions for adults with Learning disabilities and/or Autism.

X 1 Senior Support Worker - Full time, 35 hrs. per week, (PO1) £41,133 - £43,680

 

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who wish to work within our newly built Royal Hill Independent Living Service. 

The role of Senior Support Worker provides care and support to residents whilst also performing key management tasks.

The Royal Hill Independent Living service (RHILS) opened in July 2024 and signals a more strength based and innovative way of working with adults with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism that strives to embed the principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion. 

The property consists of a four bedded shared house and five independent self-contained flats.  

Residents within the shared house will be supported to prepare for a move to independent living within an 18-month period.  Our staff team are key to making independent living achievable and sustainable.  

 

  If you have experience of working with adults, assisting them to be as independent as possible using a strength-based approach, and are familiar with the use of assistive technology, tenancy management and community engagement, then we would like to hear from you.  

The successful candidate will possess effective communication skills, the ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders and an empowering approach to supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and/ or Autism to reach their full potential and aspirations in relation to independent living, adult education and paid employment.
