An opportunity has arisen to join the Disability & Home Improvement Team. This multi-disciplinary team provides services to the homes of Greenwich residents across all tenures, with a focus on supporting older and vulnerable residents to live independently in their homes by adapting or improving their home.
The rewarding post will suit applicants who have a strong commitment to the delivery of high quality services to vulnerable people and an understanding of housing problems faced by older people and those with disabilities.
Senior Home Improvement Officer x 0.5 P03 part time 17.5hrs per week
Salary details £44,331 - £47,532 pro rata
The successful candidate will have a broad and detailed working knowledge of home renovation, disabled grants legislation and disrepair issues faced by homeowners and landlords in the private sector. They should have an understanding of related legislation in administrating grants, disabled facilities grants and managing their own portfolio.
