Housing Inclusion Service

The Housing Inclusion Service at Royal Greenwich provides vital advice, support, and assistance to individuals facing homelessness and other housing challenges, seeking help from the Council. Our primary goal is to prevent homelessness by offering personalised, high-quality advice and support to help individuals resolve their housing needs.

 

The Role:

We are looking for an outstanding individual with the motivation and commitment to delivering excellent services. Our Housing Inclusion Officers manage an allocated caseload and are responsible for meeting set targets for homelessness prevention by providing high quality casework with applicants and effective working relationship with partners. 

 

Requirements:

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a good understanding of, and ability to deliver the duties required by the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017, strong customer care focus and good casework management skills. You must be an excellent communicator both written and oral with good IT skills, as well as negotiation and problem-solving skills to find solutions for customers approaching the Council.
