Health and Adult Social Care (HAS), Provider Service, Learning Disability Provisions

We are seeking to fill a number of roles to help us deliver our new vision for Health and Adults Services (HAS), within our in-house provisions for adults with Learning disabilities and/or Autism, some of whom have complex health needs.

We offer creative activities led by our residents. These include health and wellbeing, pottery, drama and music.

Community Facilitator Level 1 (X3 posts, 35 hours per week)

Your role will be to directly support adults with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism to take part in a range of activities and opportunities within our resource hub, at small community based themed projects and to be actively involved in their local and wider communities.

You will be part of a diverse community engaging with partners. You will implement and offer creative activities to our residents that have been identified in partnership with them”.  We follow cultural events throughout the year and expect all candidates to participate with these accordingly

We are seeking candidates who are committed, creative, dynamic and eager to do things differently, skilled staff with a “can do” attitude who have service user’s preferences, choices and aspirations at the heart of what they do.

You will believe wholeheartedly in people with learning disabilities and/or Autism having control over their own lives and the services they receive, and you will actively demonstrate equality, dignity and respect at all times.
