Job Introduction

TEACHING ASSISTANT and MID-DAY MEALS SUPERVISOR

32.50 hours per week 39 weeks per year – term time plus 5 inset days.

08:40 – 15:40 with a 30-minute break for lunch.

APT & C Scale 1c/2 – Spine point 3/4 - £28,220 to £29,025 per annum (FTE)

Actual Salary £22,842 – £23,393 per annum for 32.5 hours per week

We are seeking an inspirational Teaching Assistant with vision and high expectations for learning to work across our school, within a whole class setting and on an individual basis, supporting children with additional needs, and supervising children on the playground during playtimes and lunchbreaks.  

A degree of flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the children and the school.

Experience working with children, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility and a strong commitment to teamwork are essential.  

Experience working with children with special needs would be an advantage.
