We are seeking a teacher who is passionate about delivering excellent early education to young children and has the empathy to support the whole family. About the role
- Responsibility for leading learning within a nursery class as part of a skilled and experienced early years team
- Planning and delivering rich, well-planned play-based learning within a stimulating indoor and outdoor environment
- Working closely with early years practitioners to support all children to make good progress
- Building strong, positive relationships with children, families and carers
- Supporting inclusive practice, working in partnership with the SENCo and external professionals where appropriate
- Contributing to reflective practice and the continued development of strong provision across the nursery
What we are looking for:
We are seeking a creative, reflective and enthusiastic teacher who shares our commitment to inclusive early years education and high-quality teaching and learning. You will be:
- A Qualified Teacher (QTS) or have Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
- Passionate about the early years, how young children learn, and driven to deliver effective and engaging teaching and learning
- Adaptable and resourceful in supporting children with a range of needs, including SEND and EAL, to access an inclusive early years curriculum
- Confident in leading and working collaboratively with a team of early years practitioners to provide strong provision
- Committed to safeguarding, anti-racism and promoting the welfare of children
- Committed to working in partnership with staff, parents and carers, governors and the wider community
