One Social Worker Level One is required to carry out Strength based and person-centred re-assessments, and reviews of older people and people with disabilities in the Reviewing Team.
We are seeking a person with direct experience of assessment work, in either a social care or healthcare environment.
To be considered for this post you must have a good knowledge of the issues facing older people and people with disabilities in society today. You should have a good understanding of the legislative framework which impacts on adult social care. You must have good knowledge of The Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and Human Rights Act. You should also have a sound knowledge of the issues that impact on the Safeguarding of people at risk of abuse. You will have the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals in Health and Adults Services and in our partner agencies.
You should be well organised, a team worker and committed to the delivery of excellent services to the residents of The Royal Borough of Greenwich.
