Mulgrave Primary School   

We are seeking to appoint two reliable, proactive and well-organised Site Supervisors to join our dedicated team. These are key roles in ensuring that the school site is maintained to a high standard and provides a safe, secure and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors. 

The successful candidates will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school premises, including site security, maintenance, health and safety compliance, and the supervision of contractors. You will play an important role in supporting the smooth operational running of the school. 

Key responsibilities will include: 

● Ensuring the security of the site, including opening and closing procedures   

● Carrying out routine maintenance, repairs and inspections   

● Monitoring and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the site   

● Supporting compliance with health and safety regulations, including record keeping   

● Liaising with contractors and overseeing site works   

● Responding to day-to-day site issues in a timely and effective manner   

The successful candidates will: 

● Have experience of premises supervision, caretaking or a similar role   

● Demonstrate a good understanding of health and safety requirements   

● Be able to work independently and manage their own workload   

● Be flexible, reliable and able to respond to the needs of the school   

● Have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Details of the post: 

We are recruiting for two Site Supervisors on different shift patterns. Please indicate on your application which shift you would like to be considered for.   

Shift Pattern 1: 7am - 2.30pm, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year   

Shift Pattern 2: 11.30am - 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year 

Salary: Scale 6 – FTE from £35,520 to £36,585   

Contract: Permanent   

Closing date: Sunday 7th June 2026 

Interviews: Wednesday 17th June 2026   

Start date: As soon as possible
