Teaching Assistants
5 days per week (22.50 hours) term time only
Scale 3, Spine Point 5 £16,492*
& 5 hours per week working as a midday meals supervisor
Scale 1 Spine Point 3 £3,565*

We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic individuals to join our team at Heronsgate Primary School. You will support the provision of outstanding learning, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across our school and be passionate about providing rich learning experiences for all children. You may be placed at either of our two sites in Thamesmead and Woolwich.
We are looking for people who will:
- Provide targeted support to pupils with additional needs
- Be enthusiastic and have high expectations for all children
- Give general assistance to teaching staff both in the classroom and around the school
- Support pupils to play together and enjoy their lunchtimes
This role will be based within our NEST (school-based provision) with the possibility of movement to general class-based assistance in future years.
Candidates with experience of working with SEND children are encouraged to apply.
