Public Health Manager (Infant Feeding) 

Grade: PO4

The Royal Borough of Greenwich is continuing to deliver the Family Hub and Start for Life programme, in collaboration with communities and families.  One of the dedicated areas of work is Infant Feeding Support.  The Public Health Manager (Infant Feeding) will be responsible for leading the Infant Feeding Start for Life workstream alongside early years nutrition. The post holder will work in partnership with colleagues across different organisations to ensure that UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative is maintained and as a borough we are working towards the achievement of the Gold Sustainability Award.  

The wider Early Years nutrition work will also be led by the postholder alongside the supervised toothbrushing programme.  The successful candidate will also contribute to the wider food and health agenda within Royal Greenwich, working with a wide range of partners.  

This is a full time fixed term position for 3 years.   

The postholder will report to the Senior Public Health Manager (food and health).  

This role requires an Enhanced DBS with Children's Barred List.
