Job Introduction

Royal Greenwich Integrated Commissioning are looking for a skilled and experienced leader to fulfil the role of Programme Lead supporting the development of Integrated Neighbourhood teams in Greenwich.

 

The Royal Borough of Greenwich Council and the South East London Integrated Care Board have come together to create an integrated approach to commissioning services within Greenwich Place. this postholder has a key role in implementing this new approach.

 

Royal Borough of Greenwich Adult Health and Social Care services collaborate with residents so they can live the best lives they can, by working together to identify strengths and support independence. We are develoing a new long-term vision with the help of residents and partner organisations, which will build on all our strengths to support health, wellbeing, and independence. Our vision for Health and Adults' Services will focus on the principles of prevent, reduce and delay, to support residents to maximise their independence and receive services using a strengths based approach.  We have also developed our Health and Care plan priorities which are overseen by the Healthier Greenwich Partnership. The right candidate will support the development of Integrated Neighbourhood Teams in Greenwich, working with a range of stakeholders from across the Greenwich system including those from health, social care and voluntary sector. The candidate will work closely with the established programme team to further develop our approach to working in an integrated way, supporting programmes of work including embedding new preventative approaches to support residents to maximise their independence and how best to support residents to regain their independence following a hospital admission or change in life circumstances.   

 

We are looking for a candidate with a strong commitment to working in complex, multi organisation partnerships, bringing stakeholders together from a range of organisations to develop a collective approach to delivering service improvement. You will be passionate about improving outcomes for those in our local communities, making sure local offers are designed with local people and partners and delivering these to time as well as within available resources. This will include multi-million-pound partnerships.

 

Among other duties, the person will work at a senior level, manage political sensitivities and relationships with multiple stakeholders at all levels; they will lead on engaging with external partners in the acute, primary and secondary care VCS and community sectors, foster and maintain excellent working relationships to develop project plans that will deliver the required impact and the transformational change across portfolios. You will be a collaborative and empathetic leader able to convene partnerships and maintain long term relationships in an environment of growing complexity whilst meeting diverse resident needs in person centred ways.
