As a member of the Projects and Partnership Service, which sits within the Quality Improvement Division, you will be responsible for helping continue to shape and deliver our new Quality Improvement Framework as well as managing a portfolio of projects to improve the lives of children, young people and families.
We are looking for a Partnerships Officer who will sit within one of our Innovation and Improvement teams who will lead on implementing the social care reforms for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) alongside our Inclusion, Learning and Achievement division and external change partner.
The role will have a strong focus on developing effective partnership governance across our education, health services and social care as well as with parents/carers that drives continuous improvement for our children with SEND.
Recent projects and initiatives delivered by the Projects and Partnership Service have included:
- Opening a new children’s home for adolescent young people
- A dedicated Mentoring programme for children in our care and our care leavers
- Developing an in-house service for participation which leads on ensures the insight from children, young people and families is aligned to strategic decision making.
Sitting at the heart of the Children’s Services Directorate, you will be part of a team responsible for enabling, introducing, and ensuring the sustainment of continuous improvement activities alongside delivering bespoke innovation and improvement projects that support the delivery of effective and efficient services.
We are looking for someone who thrives in working in fast-paced environments, is comfortable working with senior leaders and is able to challenge conventional ways of working whilst motivating and leading multi-disciplinary project teams to bring lasting positive change.
