Ref 137   Part time Behaviour Support Worker  -  

10 hours per week, term time only plus 1 week (38 weeks per year).  Actual Working hours 12.15pm to 2.15pm 

Scale 3 £7,140 per annum

As  a part time Behaviour Support Worker your role will be to supervise students and to uphold the school’s behaviour code and framework.  

You will:

  • supervise and monitor students across the site during lunch time, ensuring timely transition to lessons.  
  • Understand and implement the school’s Behaviour Policy issuing rewards and sanctions as appropriate. 
  • Support staff in implementing a restorative approach in promoting positive behaviour for learning. 
  • Carry out First Aid duties (training will be provided). 
  • Support student prefects and ambassadors in carrying out their roles. 

You should have level 2 qualifications or equivalent in English and Maths and experience of working with children and young people (experience in a secondary school or youth work setting is desirable).   You should also have a commitment to the school’s Equal Opportunities Policy.
