Job Introduction
The infrastructure team will be pivotal to our ambitions to move to the cloud, use new platforms to help our staff and residents more easily use services, and strengthen our approach to security and resilience. As junior infrastructure engineer, you’ll be hands-on building out this new world.
Day to day, you’ll be working with your wider team to build, test and monitor our on-prem and cloud infrastructure. You’ll be troubleshooting problems and figuring out how to make our platforms better and easier to use. You’ll be learning database administration and how to make sure we have the best possible user experience by keeping services highly available and resilient. You’ll be helping to configure, document and support our services.
You’ll be passionate about technology and offering a great user experience. You will take pride in providing highly available stable services putting the customer first to allow them to perform their role uninterrupted. You’ll be happy to do some on-call work out of hours, for which you’ll be paid.

Hiring process

Step 2 – If shortlisted you will be invited to undertake a technical assessment.
Step 3 – If you pass the technical assessment stage you will be invited to attend a panel interview. This will usually be a 1-hour video call with up to 3 people like the hiring manager and other team members you would work with.
At the end you’ll have the opportunity to ask the panel questions in return.
