Electrician

Job Introduction


Engineering Services, part of the Repairs and Investment group are seeking to recruit to an Electrician to complement our existing team.

You will have relevant NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or C&G qualifications 2330 (or equivalent) and extensive experience of domestic and commercial wiring systems.

A sound electrical background, excellent practical skills and a thorough knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation (inc COSHH 2002, EAWR 1989, WAHR2005) & a working knowledge of The current Building Regulations.

Experienced on installation, I&T and fault diagnosis on all types of electrical installations compliant with BS7671, to its latest edition.

A knowledge of control systems would be an advantage.

You must be able to work under your own supervision or as part of a team providing an efficient, effective and courteous service to Borough residents.

A full manual UK driving licence is required with no previous DR10/DG10 disqualifications in the last 5 years as you will be required to drive a company vehicle.
