Job Introduction

Electoral Services Manager PO3 to PO5 (Career Graded) 

Electoral Services is a team that delivers exciting electoral events and is the bedrock of democracy delivering trust to voters and candidates that elections are well run. We are looking for a person to manage our team of permanent staff.

We are seeking a highly organised, flexible individual with experience managing teams with a track record of high performance in a demanding role.

You will lead on key elements of delivery and support the Head of Electoral Services and Registrars with the development and implementation of modern ways of working and professional best practice and will deputise for the Head of Electoral Services and Registrars as required.

You will need to show proven analytical skills and ability to interpret complex information, excellent communication skills and experience of engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders using tact and diplomacy, creativity and innovation to find solutions to problems and overcome obstacles to ensure deadlines are met.

Starting grade and salary will depend on your existing experience in electoral administration. PO5 is achievable for experienced electoral administrators and achievable for any successful candidate with experience in the post.
