Are you passionate about making a difference for all children?
We are seeking an inspirational teacher with vision and high expectations for learning to join us, inspiring children and promoting excellence
Our school prides itself on its calm and purposeful environment where the children feel supported, challenged and extended. The School Council plays a fundamental role in whole-school decisions, ensuring our children have a deep understanding of their role in society as thinkers and leaders of change. We are a small, diverse and extremely friendly one form entry primary school located in the borough of Royal Greenwich. Our school values run through every aspect of life here in school. We are committed to teaching our children the importance of relationships, how to be caring and respectful towards others and how to protect the environment around us.
Our children enjoy a rich, broad and well-planned curriculum which allows them to explore new and exciting literature and learn about key people of our world. We are passionate about bringing learning to life by regularly exploring our local area and further afield.
Our school environment is particularly important to us, and our children regularly contribute to our rich and exciting school displays and learning areas. While we are focused on children mastering the key skills, we are also passionate about the arts and physical development and how they support our children to make future life choices. This passion is clear to see as you walk around our school.
Alderwood Primary School is a one form entry school. You can access our recent Ofsted inspection report following an inspection which took place this academic year. http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/oxedu_providers/full/(urn)/143601
