Change & Improvement Manager

Job Introduction

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Royal Borough of Greenwich, Change & Improvement Team, on an 18 month fixed-term contract. Working at the heart of the Council, you’ll play a key role in shaping, supporting, and delivering major organisational change.

We’re a small, motivated team reporting to the Chief Executive, leading on Strategic Planning, Delivery Management, Policy Research, and Corporate Performance. Our work is fast-paced and varied, collaborating with services and teams from across the organisation to tackle complex challenges and drive improvement.

In this role, you'll support the set up of our corporate PMO and enable the delivery of multiple projects, problem-solve, and help foster innovation. You'll work closely with colleagues at all levels, including senior leaders, to develop and embed best-practice solutions. Confidence in navigating ambiguity, quickly adapting to new challenges, and working proactively will be essential. Part of your role will involve carrying out service reviews, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting—or even leading—their successful implementation.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a role that contributes to shaping the future of the organisation. This could be a development opportunity for the right candidate. We are looking for enthusiastic future leaders so this may be suitable for you if you are looking to take the next step in your career.
